What is Snapbikes?

Snapbikes is India's first membership-based, self-drive bike rental service which allows individuals to hire bikes by the day, week or month. Reservations are made through the website or our mobile app (coming soon) or email / phone.

What type of driver's license is required?

Snapbikes requires either an Indian driver's license or an International Driver's Permit (IDP). It's critical that the license is an original! Licenses must be for a light motor vehicle (2 wheeler).

How do I book a vehicle?

Can I book for any period of time?

You can book bikes by the day, week, or month.

How far in advance do I need to make a reservation?

As long as a vehicle is available, you can book immediately! Snapbikes recommends customers make bookings as early as possible.

What if I need to modify or extend my reservation?

Please dial Snapbikes’ helpful associate on 020 6933696 - and we will work with you to ensure your schedule is accommodated provided that a vehicle is available at that time. Your credit or debit card will then be charged the new amount, just like with the initial transaction. If your reservation has already started, you can call Snapbikes.

How do I cancel a reservation?

Reservations can be cancelled by calling Snapbikes / online.

If I cancel my reservation, do I still have to pay?

Yes as per cancellation policy.

What happens if I return the bike late?

A penalty will be applicable as per supplier rules and regulations.

What modes of payments are accepted?

Snapbikes accepts payments credit cards, debit cards and net banking.

How do I identify the transaction on my credit or debit card statement?

Each transaction with Snapbikes will appear marked as from "Elite Celebrations.

What documents do I need to bring when I pick up my Snapbikes vehicle?

Please bring your original driver's license, permanent and local address proof and a valid credit or debit card for any incidentals charges (e.g. extended reservation, etc.). The list of documents may vary from supplier to supplier.

What do I do if I am in an accident?

Immediately notify Snapbikes by calling 020 69333696 and the supplier on the respective contact number. Don't leave the scene of the accident until proper support has arrived. You may be required to sign several formality documents associated with the accident. The co-ordination has to happen with the supplier of the bike.

What do I do if the vehicle breaks down?

Immediately notify Snapbikes by calling 020 69333696 and the supplier on the respective contact number. Break-down services depend upon supplier to supplier.

Am I responsible for parking and moving violations?

Yes. Users must pay for any fines incurred during the reservation.

Can I delay paying the refundable security deposit?

Of course you can! Because of high demand for vehicles, a substantial chunk of our users make bookings weeks in advance. We’re not a bank, and the Snapbikes team really doesn’t want your money stuck in a security deposit for that entire period.
